The Chasteen Group

Rick Chasteen began his career in long-term care in 1985 as a nursing home administrator and now has over 22 years in the field, with experience in NHA positions, as well as a regional vice president and a CEO role. From the Nursing Home Reform Act of 1987 to the COVID-19 pandemic, he has adapted to the constant change of the LTC world.

Additionally, he has 15 years’ experience successfully recruiting NHAs, DONs, RVPs, Regional Clinicians, and corporate roles including COOs for companies in 37 states across the U.S. Whether a large corporation, small operator, or non-profit, Rick has successfully placed candidates in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in both metro and rural markets.

Jesse Chasteen grew up around the skilled nursing business, spending his time working and volunteering at the nursing homes his father, Rick, operated. He has worked in several service and sales positions and has partnered with Rick in recruiting in the healthcare industry for over 7 years.

He shares his father’s passion for facilitating growth in the skilled nursing and assisted living industry for both candidates and clients alike.

The Chasteen Group was born from the culmination of these experiences: a group dedicated to recruiting from an operator’s perspective, not a sales perspective. We believe in the quality of the match, not about the number of resumes submitted.
